JBS organized Podcast Masters From Classroom to Studio The first round of JBS Podcast Masters was conducted on February 4, 2026 for MBA 1st Year students. Designed as an experiential and competitive learning initiative, the event aimed to enhance communication skills, analytical thinking, teamwork, and industry awareness through professional-style podcast creation.

A group of 10 students from Delhi embarked on a five-day international immersion trip to Dubai and Abu Dabhi from September 24th to September 28th, 2024. The trip aimed to provide students with global exposure through industrial visits, academic workshops, and cultural experiences. Key highlights included visits to Nakheel and Teleios Factory, a workshop at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Dubai, and sightseeing tours in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Day 1 - The inaugural session kick-started with a welcome to dignitaries, participants, faculty members, and students. He then discussed the problem of unit root in time-series data and various tests which can identify the presence of unit root in data. He also demonstrated the application of these tests using eviews and STATA.

Various sessions of the MDP were jointly delivered by faculty members from Business Analytics of Management and Computer Science Engineering departments, which ensured a perfect blend of management and technical knowledge could be shared to participants of the MDP. The MDP sessions included varied knowledge of Dashboard design and hands-on experiences of the best practices of using Microsoft Excel and its advanced features.

Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt. Ltd., set up in 1974, is known for its hygiene and good quality of milk and agro products.
On our arrival, Ms.Neha (manager at mother dairy) interacted with the students and gave a brief about the milk, its ingredients and its various benefits. The students were also explained about the working of the Mother Dairy plant through a presentation, which was very informative and interesting.
MBA Students were given live demonstrations of various tests that are conducted to check the purity of milk and were also shown the processing plant of the Mother Dairy.
Soon after, all the students were provided with refreshments of flavored Milk and Ice Creams.
Mother Dairy is also conserving surroundings and saving envioronment by using solar panels, rainwater harvesting, and runoff management plant.

Hearing the speaker's experience and ideas for becoming an entrepreneur the participants were filled with enthusiasm and they also came up with great ideas for startups.

Mr.Sharma worked as a Junior Manager at JSW STEEL LTD. and then decided to pursue MBA. After completing his post graduation, he worked as Media/Marketing Intern at BW Businessworld.
Currently, he is a well known anchor and media analyst at "GO NEWS 24*7".
It was great to receive insights by his experience of working in corporate and also knowing about how to start your own venture, big or small.

Social Entrepreneurship Workshop by Prof. Patrick McNamara University of Nebraska USA It is indeed a pleasure for us to welcome Prof. Patrick Mc Namara, Director, University of Nebraska, Omaha, to deliberate an important concept on "SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP" for the MBA Students of (Batch 2017-19). Today's session gave the students an insight about the topic and the faculty also foster learning about plenty of great opportunities, one has to become crazy heroes that will change our world, be it by becoming a social entrepreneur or by developing social innovation in our company, in a non-for-profit or at a governmental level. He also interacted with the students and helped them come up with new ideas that may be a catalyst for social change that address social needs, that is not dominated by financial benefits.

She is head of training and education in NCDEX, NICR, Mumbai and also expert in online trading in commodities. Ms. Bhaavna provided a gamut of information to students and also left everyone awestruck by her captivating presence.93 participants from Ist year and IInd year MBA will be awarded certificates from SEBI.

JBS Students at the Social Media for Empowerment awards Digital Empowerment Foundation organised the Social Media for Empowerment Awards, held at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Digital Empowerment Foundation has always been dedicated towards finding ICT solutions for the under-served communities to make a fairer, more inclusive India. It has extended the same motto by initiating “Socialmedia4empowerment” awards where social media evangelists gather under one umbrella to connect and communicate with the world with a trust that “may be it takes time, but changes do happen”. JBS students participated in the event, held on 29th April, 2017.
Industry Visits by JBS Students JBS had organized a visit for First Year MBA 2016-18 batch to the state of the art, Maruti Suzuki Plant in Gurugram. 33 students along with 3 faculty members had gone for the visit.
It was very refreshing to see how strict rules and regulations were followed in every aspect of plant as students learnt the importance of discipline in the pursuit of excellence. The visitor group first gathered in a large classroom and was shown a video which provided an insight into the history of the company and how the company had touched millions of lives during its existence. The students were then given protective helmets and taken for a tour where they saw different cars being assembled. It was amazing to see the level of automation and how little human intervention was required to manufacture a Maruti Suzuki Car.

The workshop was attended by more than 25 participants, who learned skills related to Launching of New Ventures, Legal Process and Managing Start-Ups. Eminent trainers from the industry who imparted skills to the participants were Mr. Gaurav Bansal and Ms. Mehak Chabbra of Registrationwala.com, Mr. Ajay Goel, Director, Brite LED Pvt. Mock interviews by Alumni at JBS Mock Interviews at JBS were conducted this weekend to prepare the second year batch for placements.JBS alumni from Wipro, Naukri, Capital IQ, TCS ,HCL and others had come down to conduct the process.
Interaction with JBS Alumni from HCL Technologies Ankit Marwah from the pioneer batch of JBS addressed the students about the opportunities for a Management professional in a technology company. He works in Pre Sales for HCL technology and has gotten the opportunity to travel the world because of his current job. Students took home two key learnings from the session. Firstly one must never compromise on what one loves to do even if it means one has to compromise on financial aspects early in one's career. Interaction with JBS Alumni from Gerson Lehrman Group JBS invited Deepti Chadha, an alumnus for addressing the students in October, 2016.Deepti Chadha is currently working as a Global Recruitment Specialist at Gerson Lehrman Group and is part of the pioneer batch at JBS. Her session taught the students about how to brand oneself effectively on social media via LinkedIn. She discussed various functionalities of LinkedIn and how they could be leveraged by a fresher in order to make him/her visible to a recruiter. Deepti brought her experience as a recruiter and helped students highlight their profiles. She made them aware of various important components of a good profile ranging from the importance of a good profile picture and the need for endorsements and recommendations. She emphasised on growing ones network by becoming associated with various industry groups and ones favourite brands and companies so that one can stay up to date with the happenings affiliated to them. Interaction with JBS Alumni from Mckinsey JBS invited Priyanka Bhardwaj, an alumnus for addressing the students in October, 2016. Priyanka, a part of the 2012-2014 batch and student of marketing during her time at JBS spoke to our current students regarding the importance of experimenting during the beginning phase of one's career and how it's important to learn from one’s setbacks and channelling those energies positively into the future. She told the students how she wrote and published a book and an anthology of poems during her downtime. She also highlighted the importance of communication in the corporate world and how it's important to dispel and avoid assumptions which can lead to misunderstandings and communication gaps. Priyanka is now working as a Talent Research Analyst at Mckinsey and Company and is proud to be an alumni of Jaypee Business school.
Alumni Interaction Session, October 2016 Alumni interaction session - Siddhartha Bhagat, working at Bain and Company came to JBS campus to enlighten our students regarding corporate life at a premium consulting firm. He emphasised on taking risks, having a dream company, believing in oneself and taking up projects in a company you work. Resume Making workshop at JBS, Noida, October 8, 2016 Resume Making Workshop - Mrs Shailja Singh, Snapdeal and Mr Sharon Nijhawan, EXL Services enlightened the students on various aspects of Resume making. In an interactive session students learned about Do's and Don'ts of resume making and what should be done in order to make a resume stand apart. Additionally students were given a chance to bring their CV's to the experts in order to get them vetted.
Student visit to India Today, Mindrocks Youth summit, September 17, 2016 Mind Rocks Youth Summit, organized by India Today, brings together the brightest young minds from across the nation to interact with their role models in the form of a spectacular conference. A team of students from Jaypee Business School went as delegates to attend the summit. The event took place on September 17th at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and it featured eminent personalities to the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut, Sakshi Malik, Subramanian Swamy, Ankit Tiwari and Sachin Pilot, to name a few. Newsmakers at the pinnacle of a vast spectrum of fields, ranging from politicians to performers, attended the conference and inspired the students with their words and conduct.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP SKILLS WORKSHOP Learning is a lifelong process that extends beyond the classroom. So, why should one restrict oneself to a traditional job? Why not start a new business? In recent times in Indian economy, new businesses have evolved as an alternative to otherwise confined careers. Working for a new business organization is rewarding for many people because they get exposed to various areas like business strategy development, marketing, communications as well as commercial aspects of scientific research. Government is also framing new policies, which contain the definition of e-commerce units, classification by size, scale and norms for the workforce and procedures to start businesses in India and other countries.
Given this economic scenario, a 2 day Entrepreneurship skills workshop has been organized at Jaypee Business School, Noida on 22nd and 23rd August, in an attempt to train the participants in all major areas related to starting and successfully running new businesses.

Visit of Prof. Patrick Mc Namara, July, 2016 JBS invites Dr. Patrick McNamara, Director of International Studies at University of Nebraska, Omaha, to conduct a social entrepreneurship course for MBA students. Mr. McNamara has been associated with JBS since 2011. His specialization lies in the areas of conflict resolution and negotiation, sustainable development, sustainable development, social entrepreneurship, and civic leadership.
Given all the problems our world faces —in teaching, technology, health care, or finance — we need more social entrepreneurs and change makers. Progress against these problems will be intolerably slow if only 3% to 5% of the world’s population thinks they can solve them. Competency Development Programme, June 20-25, 2016 JBS organised a Competency Development Programme (CDP-2016) titled “Business Research and Analytics” from June 20-25, 2016.
The CDP had been designed to address the problems of both industry and academia in understanding, designing and analyzing data for good academic / industry research and better decision making. The innovations that have happened in research data tools are important in simplifying the complexity in data to make it more understandable and appeal the readers and users of research.

I attended the wonderful “Social Media for Empowerment Awards and Summit 2016” which was organised by Digital Empowerment Foundation on 15thof March. The venue was India Habitat Center, New Delhi. All the eyes were glued to this event as nominations and participation were received from across South Asia. JBS, Noida was privileged to be the institutional partner for this event and excitement level of the students was sky high.
The event was inaugurated with a welcome note by the Founder & Director of DEF, Mr. Osama Manzar which was followed by speeches from Dr. Ronald Meinardus, Ms. S. JBS hosted an Open House on 16th May 2015 The Jaypee Business School- a constitutent of JIIT University NOIDA - today announced many initiatives for the aspirants for the year 2015-17 batch of MBA students. These include setting up a Media Centre for Training, Research and Education- MCenTRE, an initiative to teach real time economy and connect the industry with the institution.
"The industry faces a dearth of "job ready" managers from educational institutions. So we have designed a learning centre within the JBS which will provide the industry with skilled managers for sector specific needs.
